ProfileDr. Sherwin Ho is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago and Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship. He has lectured nationally and internationally, and has served as an official spokesman for the Americian Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) for many years, as well as course faculty and on various committees for the AAOS, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). He is a member of the Herodicus Society, and serves as a principal reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM), a founding member of the editorial board of the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine (OJSM), and as an Editor-In-Chief for Sports Medicine for Medscape Reference (WebMD, formerly eMedicine). He has been a longtime team physician at the University of Chicago and Concordia University Chicago, as well as for the USA Women’s Volleyball under head coaches Lang Ping, Hugh McCutcheon, and Karch Kiraly. He is currently the head team physician for China’s National Women’s and Men’s volleyball teams, winning Silver at the 2014 World Championships in Milan, Italy, Gold at the 2015 World Cup in Nagoya, Japan, and the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
